Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena: What you need to know

Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena is the perfect place to unplug from the outside world and re-establish contact with the ocean, the surrounding area, and the Caribbean spirit.

Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena

They work hard to provide you with the most pleasing experience possible while you are on the island because they understand that happiness is in lovely little details.

Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena offers two different experiences: a day pass and a brand-new accommodation service in cozy cabins by the VIP area. I'll explain the costs, what's included, and how the options differ later, so you can decide which is best for you.

How to get to Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena?

The departure from Cartagena to Bora Bora Beach Club Cartagena is at 8:00 a.m. from "Muelle de la Bodeguita" pier. I advise you to come at 7:15 a.m. to avoid waiting in a large queue and ensure you can take the first boat.

Muelle de la Bodeguita Pier

You should pass pier's Gate #3 at 7:20 a.m. and pay the port tax in cash only, which is COP 20,000 per passenger. This is an additional cost to your Day Pass price.

Then, a Bora Bora Beach Club staff member confirms your reservation, walks you to the counter to pay the remaining 50%, and informs you about the logistics. Two significant upsides are that the staff is bilingual, and you can pay with debit/credit cards.

Once you pay, they provide a wristband, ask you about your lunch preference according to those applicable to your Day Pass, and give you a card for it. They also hand you another card with the random number of the bed assigned to you.

Since everything is highly organized, they make you wait comfortably in shaded chairs, and the boarding starts at 7:55 a.m., so the boat can leave at 8:00 a.m. The journey to the island takes only 55 minutes.

Upon arrival, the Island Staff welcomes you with joy and applause; it's fascinating! They also check your bags before you enter because weapons and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the beach club.

When you enter the beach club, the staff greets you with a refreshing welcome cocktail, and someone walks you to your bed.

What is the Day Pass return time?

The return trip to Cartagena departs at 3:00 pm, and I'm sure you will not want to leave!

Since everything at Bora Bora Beach Club is meticulously planned, they begin asking all bathers to exit the water at 2:15 pm.

They close the accounts at 2:30 pm, so you can pay for anything you consumed, and they can give you a Boarding Pass, which they ask for before boarding the return boat.

As the tide is higher on the way back, try to be among the first to board the boat so you can choose an advantageous position.
